Woman Killed, Child Injured in Car Crash

A 40-year-old woman was killed and a 6-year-old boy critically injured after a car crash on Sunday. According to the Denver Post, the woman was driving a Ford Taurus west on Weld County Road 6 at about 9 a.m. when she apparently pulled out in front of a pick-up truck heading north on Colorado Boulevard. Authorities say that the Taurus was struck broadside on the driver’s side killing the woman and seriously injuring the young boy. Firefighters said that the young boy was airlifted to Children’s Hospital with life-threatening head and chest injuries.

  2. Unfortunately, this child died yesterday. I also believe he was 9 years old, not 6 years old.
