Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Car

9News is reporting that a motorcyclist was killed Thursday night after colliding with a car east of Greeley. The accident occurred at around 6 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 34 and Weld County Road 45. Colorado State Patrol says the motorcycle collided with a 2004 Cadillac. The driver of the Cadillac suffered minor injuries in the collision. The State Patrol says that alcohol is being considered a factor in the accident.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation 90 riders and passengers were killed in motorcycle crashes in Colorado in 2007, the highest ever recorded (that averages almost 8 deaths every month).
