The Denver Post  is reporting the identities of two woman killed in an auto accident caused by a suspected drunk driver Tuesday night. They are 28-year-old Elena Callas of Denver, and 28-year-ol Amanda Jones of Pensacola, Fl. Jones was the passenger in the pick-up truck of Carl Cumby, the alleged drunk driver. Callas was driving a Ford Mustang when she was struck by Cumby at West 44th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. Cumby was arrested after being treated for injuries sustained in the crash at Denver Health Medical Center.

  1. This really seems so pointless. My heart goes out to the families of both the passenger and the other driver. We all need to make a point of keeping Denver streets safe – starting with reporting drunk drivers.
