Having confidence in the performance of your car is extremely important for your safety and the safety of your family. On Wednesday morning The Denver Post reported that the popular Japanese company, Toyota Motor Corp, has issued a massive vehicle recall due to faulty steering. Toyota is recalling about 550,000 vehicles worldwide with the majority of those vehicles being within the United States. The issue is caused in the engine’s crankshaft of some of their most popular models making it difficult to turn the steering wheel. The recall will allow owners of the faulty vehicles to receive an inspection and replacement of the necessary parts by authorized dealers free of charge. Notices of this recall will be mailed out in January but if owners are experiencing loud noises from their engines, they are encouraged to seek their local dealer immediately. No accidents or injuries have been reported as of yet due to this defective part.
