Three Car Accident in Denver Leaves One Dead

9News is reporting that one person is dead after a three car accident that took place April 11, 2011. According to police, a white 2007 Ford F-450 pickup truck was traveling eastbound on 70th Avenue when it crossed into the westbound lane. The 2003 Peterbuild semi-truck, which was hauling sand, tried avoiding the ford; however, he was sideswiped. Sadly, when the semi-truck was sideswiped it caused him to cross into the eastbound lane and into a red 1994 Acura two-door, traveling East on 70th Avenue. The semi-truck then went over the guardrail and rolled onto its left side. Christopher Goetzfried, the driver of the Acura, was pronounced dead at the scene. Lisa Goodman, the driver of the semi, was taken to Denver Health to be treated for serious injuries, while the driver of the Ford was uninjured in the Denver automobile accident.
