Fatal Early Morning Car Crash

An early morning crash killed the driver and closed down parts of Rooney Road and the Alameda Parkway for several hours today. 9 News has reported that Lakewood Police investigators are “working to identify the driver” as well as to find the cause of the fatal accident. Witnesses near the scene “told investigators they saw the car going very fast before it went off the road.” The crash caused traffic backups well into the morning commute.
