2 People are Dead After Fatal Denver Trucking Accident on I-70

Two people were killed in a Denver semi-truck driving accident earlier this month, according to KJCT8 News. Jesus Heriberto Leyva Quintero, 50, was driving his Expedition down I-70 when a semi-truck ran into the back of the trailer he was towing. Philip D. Guenaga, the driver of the semi-truck, was also pulling a trailer when he collided with the Expedition and caused both vehicles to veer off course. Leyva Quintero was traveling with two other passengers who were both ejected from the vehicle at the time of the crash. Leyva Quintero along with passenger Maria Aurora Valdez Castro died after the Expedition flipped over several times. Sixteen year old Fabian Leyva Valdez was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated for severe injuries. Guenaga, however did not suffer any major injuries.
