One Hospitalized After Roll-over Accident

The Gazette is reporting that one person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Monday night after a one vehicle crash. The accident happened shortly before 8 p.m. when the driver of a small truck hit a patch of ice and lost control of the vehicle. The truck was traveling east on Fountain Road when it hit the ice, went off the south side of the road, hit a curb and rolled once. The two occupants of the truck were taken to Memorial Hospital. One was treated for minor injuries; the other suffered a life-threatening head injury.
