26-year-old Killed by Drunk Driver on I-25 – Colorado Springs Personal Injury Lawyer

Ryan Kelly, 26, was killed early Saturday morning April 23, 2011 when he was hit by a drunk driver on I-25. According to KKTV, Kelly had stopped just north of Fillmore around 2:00 a.m. to help a man he found walking on the interstate. The victim’s Ford F-250 was then struck from behind by a Honda Accord. The drunk driver, Jason Warren, 30, was arrested for DUI and vehicular assault. The passenger in his car, 25-year-old Patrick Warren suffered a hip fracture and the pedestrian was uninjured.
